The Social Media Technology Specialist is responsible for architecting and executing Biotherapics Healthcareโ€™s digital narrative across all social platforms. You will move beyond simple posting to leveraging Social Techโ€”using automation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven listening tools to engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs), researchers, and patients. Your goal is to position Biotherapics as a leader in healthcare innovation while maintaining absolute compliance with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Strategy & Tech Integration:ย Implement and manage social media management suites (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social) to streamline multi-channel publishing and listening.
  • Innovation Storytelling:ย Translate complex healthcare research, informatics, and biopharmaceutical advancements into engaging, tech-forward content (videos, interactive carousels, and webinars).
  • MoPH Compliance Oversight:ย Act as the “technical gatekeeper” to ensure all social media advertisements and clinical posts strictly adhere toย MoPH Circulars No. 1/2021 and 1/2022ย regarding healthcare advertising.
  • Bilingual Engagement:ย Oversee the development of high-qualityย English and Arabicย content, ensuring Right-to-Left (RTL) technical stability across all mobile and web interfaces.
  • Data & Sentiment Analytics:ย Utilize social listening tools to monitor regional healthcare trends in the GCC and provide the “Biotherapics” leadership with actionable insights on market sentiment.
  • Healthcare Influencer/KOL Liaison:ย Manage digital partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and medical practitioners in Doha, ensuring all collaborations are transparent and ethically aligned.
  • Paid Social & Growth:ย Architect high-performance, segmented ad campaigns on LinkedIn (for B2B/Research) and Meta/TikTok (for public health awareness), optimizing for high-quality lead generation.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience:ย 4โ€“7 years in digital marketing or social media technology.ย Experience in the Healthcare, Biotech, or Pharma sector in Qatar is a major advantage.
  • Education:ย Bachelorโ€™s degree inย Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Technical Stack:
  • Management:ย Mastery of enterprise-level Social Media Management Systems (SMMS).
  • Analytics:ย High proficiency inย Google Analytics 4 (GA4)ย and native platform analytics.
  • Creative Tech:ย Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva for rapid content prototyping.
  • Ads:ย Expert knowledge of Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Language:ย Professional English fluency is mandatory.ย Arabic is a significant advantage for localized community management and regulatory coordination.
  • Compliance Knowledge:ย Familiarity withย Qatarโ€™s Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (PDPPL)ย and MoPH advertising standards.
