Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components, ensuring adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards, catching discrepancies early on.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes, ensuring accuracy and precision in every measurement.
- Perform visual inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies for defects (e.g., cracks, corrosion, and misalignment), guaranteeing flawless products.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions, maintaining a comprehensive record of quality control activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory)
- Valid CSWIP 3.2.2 (Senior Welding Inspector) certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects
- Previous experience with QatarEnergy projects is mandatory
- Strong background in mechanical fabrication, erection, testing, and commissioning
- Experience leading inspection teams and managing client interfaces
- Locally Available in Qatar with a Valid QID
