Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of fire fighting systems (FM-200, CO2, water sprinklers, hydrants, etc.)
- Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance of fire pumps, sprinklers, fire hose reels, fire extinguishers, and alarm systems
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in fire suppression systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., NFPA, QCDD)
- Respond promptly to fire alarms, emergency calls, or system malfunctions
- Conduct pressure and flow tests to verify system functionality and performance
- Maintain accurate service logs, inspection checklists, and equipment reports
- Coordinate with civil defense authorities and attend inspections when required
- Assist in training staff on the proper use of fire safety equipment and emergency protocols
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in safe and good working condition
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in fire fighting system installation and maintenance
- ITI/Diploma in fire and safety or equivalent technical qualification
- Familiarity with QCDD regulations and standards is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret fire system layout drawings and technical documents
- Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Must be based in Doha and available for interview
- Valid and transferable visa with NOC is mandatory
