Event Technology Specialist
Hello My Ticket Events – Ras Abu Aboud (Event Complex), Doha
The Mission: Hello My Ticket Events is seeking an Event Technology Specialist to power the next generation of live entertainment in Qatar. Based out of our Ras Abu Aboud operations hub, you will ensure the seamless technical execution of large-scale concerts, sporting events, and festivals by managing the intersection of hardware, software, and real-time data.
Core Responsibilities:
- Systems Integration: Deploy and manage high-traffic ticketing gates, RFID access control, and cashless payment systems across major Doha venues.
- Network Management: Oversee dedicated on-site event Wi-Fi and hardwired networks to support live streaming, production teams, and media broadcasts.
- AV & Technical Coordination: Act as the technical liaison between external AV vendors and internal production teams to ensure all digital displays and sound systems are synced.
- Troubleshooting: Provide rapid, high-pressure technical support during live event windows to resolve hardware failures or connectivity issues instantly.
- Data & Analytics: Extract and analyze real-time attendance data to assist crowd management and provide post-event ROI reports for stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: 4+ years in Event Tech, IT Operations, or Production Management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in network configuration (Ubiquiti/Cisco), ticketing software, and live-streaming protocols.
- Attributes: A “calm-under-fire” mentality—live events are high-stakes and require quick, decisive action.
- Education: Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent technical certifications.
- Language: Fluent English is mandatory; Arabic or Spanish is a strong plus given our global artist roster.
