Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, wiring, termination, and integration of electrical, electronic, and instrumentation systems
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities
• Perform routine inspections, preventive & corrective maintenance
• Diagnose and resolve electrical/electronic faults using approved tools and safety practices
• Provide on‑site technical support during installation, shutdowns, and maintenance
• Maintain accurate documentation, maintenance logs, and inspection records
• Work collaboratively with engineers and multidisciplinary technical teams
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, IEC standards, permit‑to‑work systems, and local Qatari regulations
• Support operations in industrial, onshore, and offshore environments

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma/Technical Certificate in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field
• 1–4 years of hands‑on experience as an Electrical/Electronic Technician (industrial or oil & gas preferred)
• Strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems and basic instrumentation
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, wiring drawings, and schematics
• Experience with control panels, sensors, transmitters, and field instruments
• Basic exposure to PLC/automation systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a high safety focus
• Offshore flexibility required
• H2S, confined space, or offshore safety certifications are an advantage
• Ability to work on‑site and support regional projects (Qatar, UAE, KSA)
