Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the integrated shutdown schedule, ensuring all activities are logically linked and resource-loaded for accurate progress tracking.
- Lead and facilitate planning meetings with cross-functional teams (Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, etc.) to gather input, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on scope and execution strategies.
- Monitor progress against the schedule, proactively identify potential delays, and develop mitigation plans to keep the shutdown on track and within budget.
- Manage and control the shutdown budget, track actual costs against planned expenditures, and provide regular financial reports and forecasts.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field to establish a strong foundational knowledge base.
- Holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification to demonstrate formal project management training.
- Has a minimum of 4 years of experience in plant shutdowns within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Generation industries, showcasing relevant expertise.
- Exhibits a deep understanding of shutdown methodologies, including critical path analysis, resource leveling, and risk management.
