Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing the companyโ€™s financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, and supporting management with financial information to ensure proper financial control and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor company expenses and ensure they are within approved budgets.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Process supplier invoices and payments.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial policies.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
  • Coordinate with auditors during financial audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3โ€“5 years of accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred

  • Experience in construction or contracting companies.
  • Knowledge of VAT regulations in Qatar.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,500.00 – QAR3,500.00 per month
