Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical and instrumentation installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Verify calibration and testing of instruments, ensuring they meet operational accuracy and reliability before commissioning.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, identifying potential discrepancies and ensuring adherence to design intent.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and non-conformance reports, providing clear documentation for quality assurance processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field, providing a strong technical foundation.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation quality control within the oil and gas or industrial sectors.
- Certification as a Quality Control Inspector (e.g., CQI, CWI) is highly desirable, demonstrating a commitment to quality standards.
- Experience with industry-specific standards such as ISO 9001, IEC, or API, showcasing familiarity with quality management systems.
