Full job description
We are seeking a competent Fire Pump Technician with hands-on experience in the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire pump systems including electric, diesel, and jockey pumps. The ideal candidate should be capable of performing pump performance tests, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, and ensuring compliance with fire safety standards and authority regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and maintain fire pump systems including electric, diesel, and jockey pumps.
- Conduct pump performance testing including 0%, 100%, and 150% flow tests.
- Operate and maintain pump controllers, pressure switches, and related control systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspection of fire pump systems.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical and mechanical faults in fire pump equipment.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of pump rooms in accordance with safety procedures.
- Ensure all works comply with Qatar Civil Defence Department (QCDD) requirements and fire safety standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, ITI, or a related technical field.
- 2–4 years of experience in fire pump installation, testing, and maintenance.
- Good knowledge of pump controllers, pressure switches, and pump testing procedures.
- Familiarity with pump room operation and fire safety system requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical pump issues.

Pay: QAR2,000.00 – QAR2,300.00 per month
