IP Pricing Specialist

In this IP Pricing Specialist position

• Assist in responding to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner for both network and local customers
• Pricing for all shipping modes, including Air Freight, Ocean Freight and Breakbulk
• Develop pricing for projects, bids, tenders, and customer enquiries via specific formats, email, ad-hoc, and Out-of-Gauge (OOG) requests
• Prepare and analyze pricing proposals for project logistics opportunities
• Analyze department volumes and design consolidation and const saving initiatives.
• Support the timely monitoring of local tariffs
• Prepare and submit relevant documents for tenders
• Build and secure business relationships with customers, carriers and internal Stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams (OCC, ACC, Charter Desk), local vendors, and regional pricing teams to gather accurate cost data and project requirements
• Prepare carrier performance reports and reviews
• Identify opportunities to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive prices and negotiate competitive rates with suppliers while meeting desired service specifications
• Understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development
• Deliver day-to-day shipment documentation for freight forwarding, assist in development of tenders and ensure on-time submission on relevant documents
• May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices
• Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own function
• Build relationships and understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns
• Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships
• Connect with and influence other specialist departments and 3rd parties e.g. external service providers
• Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with other Pricing departments
