Full job description
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Painting to lead and manage painting and surface protection activities for Oil & Gas projects. The candidate must have extensive experience in industrial painting, coating systems, manpower management, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete painting and coating operations for Oil & Gas projects
- Plan, schedule, and monitor painting activities as per project timelines
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Supervise site teams including engineers, inspectors, and chargehands
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and QA/QC teams
- Ensure proper surface preparation and coating application as per standards
- Monitor productivity, manpower allocation, and material consumption
- Review and approve painting inspection reports and documentation
- Maintain adherence to HSE requirements
- Handle project billing, progress tracking, and reporting to management
- Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical) – Mandatory
- Experience: 4–10 years in Painting (Oil & Gas sector mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of industrial painting, coating systems, and blasting
- Experience managing large painting teams and site execution
- Familiar with international standards (ISO, SSPC, NACE, BGAS preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to handle client coordination and project planning
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: QAR 16,000 – 17,000
- Package: Full Package (FAT included in salary)
