Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tailored training programs that cater to the varying skill levels of individual swimmers, ensuring progressive improvements.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to swimmers, helping them set and achieve personal goals.
- Foster a positive and motivating team environment that encourages camaraderie and sportsmanship among athletes.
- Plan and oversee swim meets and competitions, ensuring athletes are prepared both mentally and physically for their events.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelorโs degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in coaching principles.
- At least 3 years of hands-on coaching experience, specifically in competitive swimming, showcasing a track record of athlete development.
- Bachelor’s degree and Certification in Lifeguard. Prior experience as a lifeguard in a school is an added advantage. Age preference: Not more than 45 years
- Nationally recognized coaching certification (e.g., ASCA Level 1 or equivalent), ensuring adherence to best practices in athlete training.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills in Spanish or Mandarin preferred, to effectively communicate with diverse swimmers and families.
