Property Development Tycoon

Position Overview

The Property Development Tycoon will lead the vision, strategy, and profitable growth of a diversified real estate portfolio across Qatar and the region. This role is responsible for sourcing landmark development opportunities, securing financing, driving endโ€‘toโ€‘end project delivery, and maximizing longโ€‘term asset value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the overall property development strategy in line with the companyโ€™s growth and profitability objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure prime land and redevelopment opportunities (residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixedโ€‘use).
  • Lead market research and feasibility studies to assess project viability, returns, and risk.
  • Structure and secure project financing, including bank facilities, JV partnerships, and investor capital.
  • Oversee master planning, concept design, and detailed design with architects, engineers, and consultants.
  • Direct the full development lifecycle from land acquisition, approvals, and permitting through construction and handover.
  • Appoint, negotiate with, and manage contractors, consultants, and key vendors to ensure cost, quality, and time targets are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, zoning, and statutory requirements in Qatar.
  • Set pricing, leasing, and sales strategies to optimize revenue and occupancy across the portfolio.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, asset values, and cash flows, and implement valueโ€‘add or exit strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, regulators, financial institutions, investors, and strategic partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop highโ€‘performing development, commercial, and asset management teams.
  • Represent the company as a visible industry leader at events, conferences, and in key negotiations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field; Masterโ€™s degree or MBA preferred.
  • 5โ€“7+ years of progressive experience in real estate development, with a strong track record delivering largeโ€‘scale projects in the GCC (Qatar experience preferred).
  • Proven experience in land acquisition, deal structuring, project finance, and complex stakeholder management.
  • Strong understanding of local real estate regulations, planning processes, and approval pathways in Qatar.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and proven ability to drive high IRR/ROI across multiple projects.

  • Experience working in family offices, investment houses, or large real estate groups.

Pay: QAR85.00 – QAR170.00 per hour
